  What will my role look like?

As a Customer Service Assistant you will be the face and voice of our Petrol Forecourts and your main priority will be to ensure that our customers are provided an excellent customer service experience every time. If you aren’t serving our loyal customers at the till then you’ll be busy working the shop floor ensuring our shelves are merchandised, look amazing and well stocked!

  What will my role look like?

Our Finance Team is expanding and we have an exciting opportunity available for a Commercial Finance Analyst! In this role you will be required to provide commercial insights to the EG Management team and to partner the business to optimize and challenge financial performance.

  What would my main responsibilities be?

Identify KPIs which should be tracked on a regular basis.

Preparation of weekly trading reports / dashboards.

Business partnering with key stakeholders.

Prepare monthly presentations on the trading performance which are clear and concise, and identify the key trends and drivers of the result.

Trend analysis and investigate variances.

Always looking at ways to improve reporting.

Working alongside the management accounts team to understand monthly performance by site, by brand, by location.

Review of P&L cost items on a regular basis to develop understanding of cost base and present key trends.

Working closely with operational manager to optimise performance, cost control and improve profitability.

Provide support and information to improve decision-making.

Quarterly forecasts.

To lead and manage budget preparation for the assigned brand.

Other analysis or tasks as requested by the CFO, Finance Director or Financial Controller.

  Candidate Requirements:

Excellent communication skills – have the confidence and ability to discuss numbers with either the CEO or a site manager.

Excellent knowledge of Excel.

Part Qualified Accountant.

  Advantage:

Multi-site experience either hospitality or retail would be an advantage.
