Job Description: Business Development Consultant

. As part of our expanding remit of clients, Kube Consultants are seeking to recruit a key individual to work cross functionally on a number of our projects,

which will ensure we deliver quality work of the level expected by our clients.

The Role

The diversity and distinct focus of each of our projects has produced the need for additional resource to ensure key tasks are delivered effectively and efficiently. As a result, we are seeking a dynamic and creative individual to carry out business development work across our varied group of projects.

Summary of Role

The Business Development role is a pivotal position within our organisation, whose input and implementation is crucial for fulfilling the ambitions and goals of Kube Consultants. You will be responsible for developing research and strategy for clients, with a view to engagement and fundraising from the Muslim community. Your role will be instrumental in developing and maintaining our clients fundraising, marketing and engagement strategy, as well as service delivery, to ensure we continue to deliver an excellent service and experience for our clients.

 Research and Strategy

Working with key clients in scoping, researching and evolving their respective engagement vision with the Muslim community. Developing their strategy, tools, methodology and campaigns to engage with and fundraise from the Muslim community. This will require undertaking in-depth research on identifying and profiling individuals, organisations, companies, media outlets as well other sectors which emerge throughout each respective project.

 Campaigns and Engagement

Delivering campaigns on behalf of each respective client, by advising on the coordination and implementation of emerging strategies. Utilising and expanding existing social media outreach as well as our database on behalf of clients to ensure maximum support and exposure for each relevant campaign.

 Marketing and Fundraising

Supporting ongoing fundraising activities by engaging with and making the ask from identified database of relevant contacts on behalf of clients. Devising and implementing sustainable strategies, while cultivating and building new relationships among key individuals, networks, mosques and community groups. Providing input towards improving and expanding existing digital fundraising avenues and mechanisms for the purposes of revenue generation on behalf of clients.

 Business Development

Identifying and researching new projects, clients and other opportunities including event management, as part of our ongoing project expansion work, by reinvigorating current development and marketing strategies. This includes the need to create comprehensive project delivery plans covering all aspects from concept to execution, as part of ongoing project development work.


We expect this role to remain primarily home based with the majority of tasks fulfilled from an office setup at home. However, candidates will be expected to participate in occasional meetings and events UK-wide, which may require significant travel.

 Self-motivated and enthusiastic with a positive approach to work and colleagues.

 Inured towards fundraising and making the ask on behalf of clients

 Well-organised, confident and with an eye for detail.

 Ability to manage time effectively and meet often conflicting deadlines.

 IT skills in word processing, spreadsheets and email, using Microsoft Office applications.

 Ability to successfully communicate with a wide range of people effectively, both orally and in writing, demonstrating empathy where appropriate.

 Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and to distribute tasks across projects effectively.

 Ability to write reports accommodating data and evidence, ensuring the requirements of the client are fulfilled.

 Willingness and ability to work flexibly, including on weekends and outside ordinary office hours from time to time, in order to accommodate the needs of the organisation.
